Despite a few <a href=\"\/?p=64&#038;phpMyAdmin=y7-wyFW16QINBVwSxwbVWn-cg16\">weird setbacks<\/a>, this tradition has persisted through the years.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been raining here for about a week, completely shutting down our morning routines of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seminolechronicle.com\/vnews\/display.v\/ART\/2009\/04\/30\/49f8b0d8d4b14\">bicycling<\/a> and <a href=\"\/?p=521&#038;phpMyAdmin=y7-wyFW16QINBVwSxwbVWn-cg16\">exercise<\/a>. Since the kids have been enjoying playing with each other, I&#8217;ve been starting work a bit earlier.<\/p>\n<p>The other morning, as the kids were heading off to school, my youngest stopped at the bottom of the stairs. &#8220;Two things, daddy! Two things!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I headed down the stairs&nbsp; &#8220;What?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Secret Handshake and Finger Love&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sounded good to me. We did our secret handshake and followed it with some finger love.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Look at this,&#8221; he said, touching the tips of his index fingers together (in effect, giving himself finger love). &#8220;I could do this all morning!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I had no response to that, other than a queasy feeling.
