The dogs sleep in our bedroom, and when the little guy comes running to our&nbsp;room in the mornings (<a title=Marshmallows href=\"http:\/\/www.seminolechronicle.com\/vnews\/display.v\/ART\/2008\/03\/26\/47ead391e40c3\">as you may remember<\/a>), they charge out to meet him.<\/p>\n<p>The dogs are&nbsp;friendly, but clumsy, and I certainly sympathize with the little guy. If I were his size (about 30 lbs), I&#8217;d be nervous about two 80+ pound labs charging at me too.<\/p>\n<p>The other morning, we woke up to the slap, slap, slap of his bare feet running across the floor. Instead of opening the door, however, he knocked very politely. &#8220;Excuse me!&#8221; he called out. &#8220;Excuse me!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yes?&#8221; I called back.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Could you come get me?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I looked down at the labs, standing at attention in front of the door, ears perked, bodies taut, tails twitching.<\/p>\n<p>Sigh. &#8220;I&#8217;ll be right there, little guy.
