There comes a time in the life of any project when\u00a0changes have to be made. For DaddyTales, we’ve reached that time.\u00a0This project started out as a place for me to\u00a0share my parenting stories, then turned into a newspaper column – which ran for \u00a0six years.\u00a0When\u00a0the newspaper went dark, I kept writing smaller tales here on the site.<\/p>\n
My kids are substantially older\u00a0(11 and 13) now, and\u00a0even though I’ve always tried not to embarrass them with these tales, I’m worried that will start to happen simply because of their age.<\/p>\n
I’ve slowed\u00a0down\u00a0on posting tales and am instead looking at\u00a0where DaddyTales will go next.<\/p>\n
I believe that I’ll still write the occasional tale, but I think my focus now should be on\u00a0presentation.\u00a0I’m not going to just slap all these tales into a book. There are over twelve hundred\u00a0of them, which would make one huge book.<\/p>\n
In sum, though, these stories do\u00a0tell many\u00a0interesting and funny stories.\u00a0I still\u00a0have people who recognize me from my picture in the paper and\u00a0ask me about them.<\/p>\n
So, I’m looking at what’s next.<\/p>\n
The story of DaddyTales isn’t\u00a0over, but it’s about to change. When I have more news, I’ll post here and on Facebook.<\/p>\n
