At breakfast the other morning, my youngest son made a big announcement. “I have a date for Valentine’s Day.”<\/p>\n
“Really?” I said. “That’s cool.”<\/p>\n
“No way,” his older brother said.<\/p>\n
“Yes, I do.” he said, grinning. “It’s February 14th.”<\/p>\n
It took me a moment to understand the joke, but his brother was quicker. “Bad news,” he said. “My date for Valentine’s\u00a0Day\u00a0is the same. Valentine’s Day is\u00a0cheating on you.”<\/p>\n
