At dinner the other day,\u00a0the topic of\u00a0drama came up, specifically\u00a0who\u00a0is\u00a0overly dramatic and who is not.<\/p>\n
“Well,” I said. “Of all of us, I think you’ve got to admit that\u00a0I’m the least dramatic.”<\/p>\n
My wife rolled her eyes. “Whatever.”<\/p>\n
My oldest son nodded. “No.\u00a0I think he’s right.”<\/p>\n
My youngest son started\u00a0laughing uncontrollably.<\/p>\n
I raised my eyebrows at him, in the least dramatic way possible. “What?”<\/p>\n
He clutched his right\u00a0hand to his heart, then extended his left\u00a0at an angle to the heavens. His face contorted into the most\u00a0wounded expression possible. “Oh, oh!”<\/p>\n
I sighed. “Really?”<\/p>\n
He doubled over, laughing.<\/p>\n
“Humph.” Keeping my dignity intact, I returned to my eating.<\/p>\n
For the record, that’s not drama. That’s my Redd Fox imitation.<\/p>\n
