These games are on-going throughout all sorts of other activities. <a title=\"Pillow bop\" href=\"\/?p=127\">Pillow-bopping<\/a>, for example, can break out at any place that actually has pillows.<\/p>\n<p>Well, the other day we were in a restaurant getting some breakfast. There were a good number of us (it was J\u2019s family reunion) and the\u00a0waitress had to walk around the table to get all our orders. As she passed by N, she reached down to ruffle his hair.<\/p>\n<p>He immediately shouted \u201cDuck!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The waitress, who hadn\u2019t really been paying that much attention, leapt back several feet.<\/p>\n<p>I guess she hadn\u2019t been expecting the two year old to shout \u201cDuck\u201d at her. Silly waitress. Clearly, he\u2019d been starting a game of \u201cduck duck goose\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>I think she figured it out later, when the kids were running around the table, tapping heads and shouting \u201cDuck!\u201d while the parents called out variations of \u201cNo. We\u2019re not playing duck duck goose right now. No. Sit down.
