This past week, the fourth grade class at Lawton Elementary was subjected to a “health” film about their bodies. They invited parents to come in and pre-screen it on Monday. Later in the week. they divided the kids and sent the boys to see one film and the girls to another.<\/p>\n
The kids, of course, were buzzing about it all week.<\/p>\n
I asked my son what he thought of it when he got home from school that afternoon.<\/p>\n
“Oh man,” he said. “It had the most annoying song ever.”<\/p>\n
Song? In a health film?<\/p>\n
“And then it showed a naked man!”<\/p>\n
I nodded.<\/p>\n
